Our chickens are traditional free range birds, they are housed in mobile polytunnels in the fields, after each flock the polytunnels are moved onto fresh pasture where the birds are free to graze the natural grass, the land was original in the Tir Gofal Scheme - which meant no fertiliser o r sprays were used and this has been the case for the past 25 years. We original converted our land to organic production when we
set up, but as the cost of organic feed was too expensive, so we moved to free range. We also do not use any artificial fertilisers on our land, only the manure used is from our own animals.
The birds are fed a unique poultry feed which has been developed especially
for us. It contains wheat and maize, no artificial colours and preservatives, and it is GM FREE.
This product may have a short shelf life so should be frozen on delivery
