There are bronze feathered turkeys – and then there are award-winning Kelly Bronze turkeys. Only a turkey that has been bred, fed, cared for and prepared the Kelly way can be called a KellyBronze. It is more than a breed, it is a philosophy – and it’s all about providing you with a turkey with good old fashioned flavour and texture to make your Christmas lunch the ultimate eating experience. Combining the best of traditional farming methods and allowing the birds to roam freely in pastures and woodland. All KellyBronze turkeys come from slow growing strains which take around six months to grow to maturity. They live on locally grown cereal and vegetable protein, totally free from drugs, growth promoters or additives. The processing methods are traditional, too. The birds are dry plucked then hung for at least 14 days to develop that characteristic KellyBronze flavour. Then they are hand wrapped and boxed ready for delivery. Full cooking instructions, recipes and even a meat thermometer are included to make your Christmas dinner as easy and delicious as possible. Serves 10-12
