BEEF RAGU WITH TAGLIATELLE
Recipe from Ian, Staffordshire

I love this dish as it’s packed full of flavour and very easy to cook! I tend to cook as much as I can get into my hot pot in one go and freeze the rest as it gives me ideal home-made dishes with minimal effort. Perfect in Autumn and Winter and easy to cook on a school night!

I like to serve this with tagliatelle but you can use whichever pasta you prefer.

BEEF CHEEKS WITH RED WINE AND GRAVY
Recipe from Dan, Wrexham

Beef cheeks are one of the best beef cuts you can cook in the slow cooker. It absorbs all the surounding flavours when you slow cook it and wont be at all dry. When ready it will pull apart and every mouthful will be just perfect!

You can also cook this dish with pork cheeks if you prefer, they taste slightly milder and just as good!

FORTIFIED MEATBALLS WITH TAGLIATELLE
Recipe from Chris, Shropshire

I found this recipe in a shared book area at my yoga class. I don’t eat beef that often but really wanted to try fortified mince as I know it’s really good for you. I’ve always loved meatballs so thought this was the perfect way to try it out. The addition of liver gives the meat an extra soft texture and depth of flavour.

ROAST BEEF SIRLOIN
Recipe from Jamie, Fordhall Farm

We have decided to use Fordhall Dry Aged Sirloin because we have a special occasion. I am going roast the sirloin on bone marrows and vegetables for the gravy. Vegetables help thicken up the gravy without using flour so it’s gluten free! We will be using organic rainbow carrots, white onions, celery and butternut squash.

SMOKY CHILLI CRISPY BEEF
Recipe from Melanie, Staffordshire

Crispy chilli beef is one of my all time favourite meals at home or from the Chinese takeaway. When I discovered Whie Mausu’s smoky chilli oil I decided to try it as an alternative to my usual cooking oil and it really boosted the flavours! The beef can easily be substituted with chicken or prawns if you prefer.
