Brisbourne Free Range

The Brisbourne family has been farming at Broomhill Farm, Nesscliffe (Shrewsbury) for over 80 years. They raise beef and sheep as well as growing arable crops throughout the year and then rear poultry for your Christmas feasts.
They pride themselves on their poultry and the quality of produce and quality of life which the birds have. They raise day old goslings and turkey chicks which over their life will roam free and graze the pastures, they are also fed wheat and potatoes grown on the farm. They are also fed a specially prepared corn ration which is free of growth promoters and additives. At night the birds are brought into large barns for protection which are bedded daily with straw.
The birds are processed on the farm, reducing food miles but also reducing stress for the animals.
